Connecting the Wi-Fi (Internet Gateway) Transmitter
This is the unit that should be connected to your charger
It has a label on it: “internet GATEWAY TRANSMITTER”
It has two sockets:
- For a Cat 5 plug
- For a mobile phone type power supply
PLEASE DO NOT PRESS THE RESET BUTTON “R” AT ANY TIME
Firstly, check that the Cat 5 cable coming out of your charger is connected to the Internet Gateway Transmitter.
Check that the plug is fitted properly: to remove press down on the plastic spring-latch – reinsert firmly until you hear a “click”.
Second, check the power supply to the Internet Gateway Transmitter is fitted properly – this is a USB power lead that should be plugged in to the USB power supply installed when your charger was installed and to the Internet Gateway Transmitter:
- Fit if not in place
- If in place, please remove and refit
- Check the power supply is ON – red light on USB power socket should be lit
