Connecting the Wi-Fi (Internet Gateway) Receiver

This is the unit that should be connected to your home broadband Internet router/box

It has a label on it: “internet GATEWAY RECEIVER”

It has two sockets:

  1. For a Cat 5 plug
  2. For a mobile phone type power supply

PLEASE DO NOT PRESS THE RESET BUTTON “R” AT ANY TIME

Firstly, check that the short Cat 5 cable supplied and originally fitted is connected to the back of your home broadband Internet router box (any socket except those marked with a red square) and the Internet Gateway Receiver.

Check at both ends that the plug is fitted properly: to remove press down on the plastic spring-latch – reinsert firmly until you hear a “click”.

Second, check the power supply to the Internet Gate Receiver is fitted properly:
