When do I need to switch to my Project Energy Supplier?

If applicable – CrowdCharge recommend that for the Project you initiate your switch to your Project energy supplier before 1st May 2021 (but the earlier the better once you have completed and returned your Participant Agreement) in anticipation of the participant trial start of 1st June 2021.

CrowdCharge will then be able to give you a Monthly Charging Summary that will include the cost of your monthly charges on your new tariff. CrowdCharge will be in touch with individual participants if we notice you have not begun the switching process by this date.

This was an innovation trial, with super new kit, so we were looking for participants to work with us on trialling and imitating the future electrification of our homes and impact on the local electricity network. There may have been some bumps in the road, but that’s why we do these trials.
These FAQs are subject to change at any point. As project lead, CrowdCharge is able to amend, retract and update any aspects of the customer trial at any point.
