The Low Carbon Networks & Innovation Conference, taking place 11-13 October 2016 in Manchester, is the key event for stakeholders interested in energy innovation.
The conference presents a great opportunity to explore the key learnings from electricity and gas network innovation projects. The programme will provide unparalleled networking opportunities in addition to project-focused presentations and workshops.
Western Power Distribution is proud to host its iconic Network Innovation Allowance project, Electric Nation, on its stand this year. Electric Nation, the world’s largest electric vehicle (EV) trial, is revolutionising domestic plug-in vehicle charging. By engaging up to 700 plug-in vehicle drivers in trials, the project is answering the challenge that when local electricity networks have 40% – 70% of households with electric vehicles, at least 32% of these networks across Britain will require intervention. Electric Nation is pioneering our electric future.
Come along and visit Electric Nation – and explore our new ‘hands on’ model that demonstrates how controlled charging of EVs could help to facilitate increasing numbers of EVs on UK roads.
Co-hosted by Electricity North West and taking place at the iconic Manchester Central, the LCNI Conference will be held on 11-13 October 2016. The conference and exhibition will be the UK’s must-attend electricity and gas network innovation event for 2016.
